How virtuous is that?

Thanks to Sam at Elizaphanian for pointing this one out: the Ethical Philosophy Selector. It’s one of the more intriguing online quizzes I’ve done, and the final output actually gives links to a quick summary of each philosopher and further resources on them. I seem to have come out with a very clear preference for St Thomas, although I’m not quite sure how I score 100% for him, and only 67% for Aristotle. Must be something to do with God, or the quiz’s bias towards personal choices.

Ethical Philosophy Selector Rankings:
1. Aquinas   (100 %)
2. Spinoza   (79 %)
3. Kant   (68 %)
4. Aristotle   (67 %)
5. St. Augustine   (67 %)
6. Ockham   (62 %)
7. Jeremy Bentham   (59 %)
8. John Stuart Mill   (52 %)
9. Stoics   (52 %)
10. Prescriptivism   (51 %)
11. Plato   (47 %)
12. Jean-Paul Sartre   (45 %)
13. Ayn Rand   (41 %)
14. Nietzsche   (36 %)
15. Cynics   (30 %)
16. Epicureans   (30 %)
17. Nel Noddings   (29 %)
18. David Hume   (27 %)
19. Thomas Hobbes   (9 %)

You can see the deontologist coming out of me, but you can never crush the existentialist.
