    So, who will rid us of this turbulent priest, the current Archbishop? Not to be interpreted as a call for another Murder in the Cathedral, just for decisive action.

    I hope no-one will. You, of course, are welcome to choose to be led by a patriarchal homophobic imperialist from Nigeria, but I would rather be led by a humble man of prayer like the present incumbent of Canterbury.

    Doug, I do not want to be led by “a patriarchal homophobic imperialist”, wherever he or she may be from. But I do want to be led by a competent leader, who will ideally also be a humble man or woman of prayer.
