Christian Resources Exhibition
I’m of today to this exhibition looking for ideas for our church and parish, and one or two specifics at a good cost. These things are not my natural habitat, and I’m prone to gawp in amazement at the variety of “Christian” merchandise on the market, and all the enthusiastic shoppers for Jesus. I still remember the first one I went to, where I saw a stall for the “Christian Sailing Club”. They were unfortunately not at all amused when I pondered aloud whether “Christian Sailing” was where – if you were becalmed – you could get out and push.
