SPCK and the dangerous Texans
If you’ve been following the SPCK bookshop saga, you’ll know that a pair of Texan brothers, professing to be a latterday Cyril and Methodius, have taken over this much-loved chain. In the process they’ve turned out to look more like Bonnie and Clyde. They are not content with having proved highly destructive of the whole chain, and dismissive to and of its staff. It look now as though they also want to spread their destructiveness to your computer. Despite licensing issues, they are continuing to use the SPCK name, and this is what Google now says about their site:
Clearly Google thinks this site is all ready to install malware on your PC. Beware the new “orthodox” evangelism.
