One Response to “What’s really wrong with postmodernism”

  1. John says:

Hardly anyone really understands how we are ALL thoroughly trapped or entangled within the modernist “world”-view, or rather brain and mind created “mind forged manacles”.

This includes ALL of the usual Christians who erroneously pretend that they have not been affected by the reductionist modernist paradigm which had its origins in the Renaisance and the rise of reductionist scientism and reductionist Protestantism.

But even that was just an inevitable extension of the essentially godless nature of Western Civilization altogether. Meaning that the usual “god”-ideas were at best only half-baked, and really just a self-serving extension/projection of the tribal/ethnic/cultural ego.

Those who try to “prove” the existence of God by appeals to “reason” are just as trapped as everyone else.
Such a “righteous” gambit is really a confession of their own doubt mind and infinite godlessness.
The exercise in trying to “prove” the existence of God via the exercise of reason , is really in effect, to affirm the statement and double-minded sulking disposition that Real God does not exist until “proven” beyond certainty.
